In 2019 Numi, celebrated 20 years of being in business. It has been a remarkable journey full of love and friendship, growth, challenge and change. I feel truly blessed with everything I have been given and fortunate that I can present my gifts to others.

There was a time where I was resistant. Where I felt I was “not cut out for business.” Because I separated myself from the notion of business due to projections of what it meant. The more I understood that, actually, business can be a force of good, a benefit to society in so many ways, rather than a source of extraction, I shifted my perspective and owned my gifts to add my value and be of service. And Numi became my teacher.

The only thing that is real is change. Why not get on its path? Rather than resist change, we can intentionally guide it. In other words, bridge the thinking… align ourselves to the change that already exists. Guide the flow, pave a direction, through intention. Like a flock of geese or a swarm of bees, one aligns to the orchestration of flow.

After 20 years, I have understood the power of intention and purpose. I believe it is through intention that we can live more purposefully. We can be aligned to our path. Your purpose is not one big thing you’ve done or are going to do. Your purpose is connecting the dots of everything in your life that brings you value and meaning. If you listen thoughtfully, you can see the dots that connect your life.

So, as we ring in a new decade, take time to listen to those dots. What makes you come alive? Seize your gifts and, as Mother Theresa once said, “give until it hurts.” Activate your purpose for every thought and action, every purpose activated comes back to you tenfold. And then your purpose will guide you.
