Mint-Infused Matcha Latte

  1. Place 8-9 mint leaves or one mint tea bag in the bottom of a 16 oz. mug and steep in a few tablespoons of water (just enough to cover ingredients) for 4-5 minutes.
  2. Warm whole milk in microwave or on stove top to about 155 degrees, or just before boiling.
  3. While milk is warming and after mint is steeped, remove leaves or tea bag and add a few more tablespoons of water to the mug.
  4. Whisk in matcha powder until fully dissolved.
  5. To froth warm milk, add to a watertight container (like a mason jar) and shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
  6. Pour milk over matcha. Add honey to taste.
