Making DIY bath bombs is so simple, so easy. At Numi, we love all things green tea. The antioxidants contained in green tea are even thought to have anti-aging benefits that can be beneficial for your skin. This bath bomb recipe also features coconut oil to moisturize the skin. This self-care DIY is for those weeks- you know the ones. When you just need to unwind and relax and spend some time for you. With a cup of tea too of course.
What You’ll Need
1 tbs Numi Matcha
1/2 cup Citric Acid
1 cup Baking Soda
Essential oils of your preference
2 tbs Coconut Oil (melted)
Bath bomb mold (you can also use a muffin tin)
The Process
…is fairly simple. You’ll need to mix all of the dry ingredients together well in a bowl with a whisk. Next, include up to 10 drops of an essential oil of your choice and combine coconut oil. We preferred peppermint essential oil here for a Mint Matcha vibe.
To create the pretty marbled, swirly look we have going on here, separate the mixture into two bowls. Mix matcha into one of the mixtures. Then, alternate scoops of these mixtures as you pack the ingredients tightly into your bath bomb molds or muffin tin, and stir very slightly with a chopstick or straw partway through, to create the marbled effect.
Pack the mixture in very tightly into the molds and pack the two halves together. Let dry for 24 hours in a cool dry place so that the bath bombs can form their shape.
Then, enjoy your soak! The bath bombs should hold for a few months stored in a cool, dry location.

Hi,
Could other oils be used for the DIY Matcha Green Tea Bath Bombs? I’n not a fan of coconut oil and I’m allergic to argan oil.
Thank you.
Yes, use the oil of your choice!
