MCT (or medium-chain triglycerides) oil is all of the rage these days, popular for its benefits supporting your metabolism and as quick source of good energy and saturated fat (source). Paired with matcha, this is a power-packed drink!
Our MCT Citrus Matcha Latte is a twist on the classic matcha latte, celebrating the vibrant citrusy notes of lemongrass and orange peel in Numi Citrus Matcha, paired with hints of spice and the healthy fat of organic MCT oil. The caffeine in this latte will give you a jitter-free boost that will last all day.

- 1.5 cup milk of your choice (we really enjoy non-dairy options like New Barn Almond Milk or Ripple Pea Milk)
- ¾ cup water
- 1 Tbsp Nutiva Organic MCT Oil
- 1.5 Tbsp sweetener (agave, maple syrup, honey)
- 1.5 tsp Numi Citrus Matcha powder
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- pinch, ground cardamom
- Place all ingredients, except for the Matcha and MCT Oil, in a small pan on the stove and stir for 1-2 minutes on low.
- Add the Matcha in slowly, stirring frequently with a Bamboo whisk (or whisk of choice) for 2-3 minutes.
- Once completely mixed together, remove from stove and place in a large latte cup.
- Add the MCT Oil, and using a handheld immersion blender, froth.
- Serve.
